Does the TVRCC have a virus?

It's not the first from TVRCC addresses either.
editor@tvrcc.com is not in my address book. I know viruses spoof addresses but the mail details are every brief, ie it hasn't been passed through many hands.
Anyone else had these?

I had a virused email in from the East Sussex TVRCC RO this morning...but I've never been in contact with him. I assume its a virus that's got onto the RO's pc?
I doubt it. It's more likely that somebody who has your address also has the ROs address in his address book, and the virus has spoofed the senders email address.
The matter is not helped by people leaving emails on websites for scripts to harvest in the first place. Can you can quite easily obsfuscate and email address (from robots) whilst making it visible to end-users

Well I just had another virus puportedly from the MidEssex RO. She's not in my address book and I'm not in hers, so something's going on.

I run Live Update daily, do a complete virus scan on my computer every week and once a month I have Symantec do it online.
I certainly didn't send you an email and I know that my computer is not virused.

All that's going on is that someone has a virus. Here's how it works:
3 Guys; Joe, Bob, and Sam
Bob gets a virus from a link on email, or downloading a program or something.
This virus wants to spread itself, but if it sent Joe a copy of itself he would call/email Bob and say "Hey, you've got a virus".
SO, Bob's virus sends a copy of itself to Joe that looks as if it's coming from Sam.
Sam, who doesn't have a virus, then is blamed for the virus and scans his system and says "No virus" and no one thinks to check Bob's computer which keeps sending out viruses.
If you read the headers of the mail message they contain all the routing information back to the first mail server it was sent from. That sometimes allows you to find who it was, as some mail servers record in the headers the user account that sent the mail.
