Great cricketer and a great commentator.
Will be sorely missed.

Very,very sad. As a young lad growing up in the 70's I don't remember much of him as a cricketer but do remember he used an SP bat biggrin Loved his commentary...shame he spent so much time in Oz and we weren't graced with him too much here.

I was going to post the same clip. Fascinating documentary.

Tony Grieg brought professionalism to English Cricket. 66 is quite young for a sportsman.

Greig did more than anyone to modernise and professionalise cricket, and all pro cricketers in the decades since have benefited from the changes he led. A very important figure in the history of the game.

Blimey, Christopher Martin Jenkins has gone too. Didn`t know he was ill. He was a gentle man with a vast knowledge of the game, an excellent commentator with an instantly recognisable voice. I`ll miss him. RIP CMJ.
