3000m clutch

Can anyone give me any information on what the cable operated clutch mechanism looks like on the 3000m, specifically the bit under the bonnet from where the clutch pedal lever pokes up though the top of the foot well? in the pictures I have found this area is hidden under a plastic cover. I assume its some kind of Bowden cable arrangement?

The parts book picture is probably better, but this is it "in the flesh" (and very blurred)!

Cable I would guess at being a Ford item?



This is a Taimar, smaller fabricated bracket on parts list maybe earlier cars, superseded at some stage by the cast alloy version ?
