I may be fitting a K&N 57i induction kit to my car fairly soon thanks to a cheque that Santa brought.

More noise needed, and these kits work spectacularly well on cars similar to mine!

I suppose that you need the extra noise to disguise that rattles from the bits that come loose and fall off?

That is the plan! A fellow PHer has the same car and it made a huge difference to his one driving

I had an unplanned gift for my Fiesta ST - two new springs and two new front tyres.

The reason was that the front n/s spring had snapped and the broken end was sticking out just at tyre tread height and slowly but surely took off the tread, like a lathe, for about an inch on the inside edge. The front tyres were ditchfindery anyway but had plenty of depth.

All mine got was some canvasses to go up in its home. The daily shed on the other hand has thrown a grump fit because it didn't get anything and has send me to the shop today for a new caliper

My cars clutch went to the floor on Christmas day

Took the thrust bearing out and it fell to bits, and the master cylinder is leaking.
