Is SRAM red worth the extra over force?

Other option was slk but sram seems to get better reviews.

It's to replace a grossmare chainset.

Needed in 172.5 and compact if anyone knows of any deals.

Best so far is red for £260

Red is approximately 100g lighter than Force, and there usually isn't that much saving in finance if you hunt the good red deals out.

Sorry, my mistake, you are right, just checked the numbers I was working out the other night, and that was rival shifters and mech differences

That's a very good price for the Force chainset, where is that from?

I've just put a k-force on my mountain bike, but looking for an upgrade for the cross bike for next season.

Ordered a sram red black in the end.

Anyone want to buy a bb30 172.5mm 34/50 gossamer compact ? Nearly new condition. Pity to ebay it as ill take a reasonable offer.
