Driving home last night through Monks Risborough (A4010) there was a scamera van catching people coming from Aylesbury towards Princes Risborough.

He was sat 100 metres infront of the Truvelo in the layby off of the road (by the dentists) (If anyone knows this road there is a stip of land, then a layby approx 10 metres from the road.

I pass this every day and never seen it before, so beware!

PS - What would happen if you were done by the van and truvelo? Double points or classed as the same offence ??

Andy,

Thanks for the info on this one, as I drive that route a fair bit over the course of the year. (usually too fast !!)

Strange though, why would a camera van be in the same catchment area as a static camera ??

Hope you didn't get caught ?

Fortunately not, I work in Wycombe and live in Aylesbury, so I was going the other way, plus the traffic was heavy so under the limit.

I did think about stopping and asking the guy if he would fire his laser into my car - I've had an origin B2 detector for a couple of months now and the laser detector has never gone off - just wanted to make sure it was working - do you reckon he would play ball?

Andy,

Have had same thoughts about the laser attachment on my road angel......... have been known to do 2-3 drive by's past camera vans to see if it triggers my unit, but never got a thing !!!!

The thing is though, i have been told that if it did indeed trigger from sensing a laser, then you would have already been caught by then !!!
