I have a car that's worth nearly nothing with a personalised number plate on it. I'm either going to sell the car or scrap it but would like to sell the registration. Can anyone recommend anywhere that will buy it straight away, I don't want to value it and then wait for years while its being advertised. I either want someone In The trade to buy it or some online company to buy it, even if its not for the true value, I just don't want to hang onto it. It's likely to suit someone who is lucky enough to purchase a mclaren P1 or anyone with a connection to jaguar landrover (JLR)

I dont think reg transfers typically buy them outright.

Best bet might be search the local area for a dealer who may buy it or alternatively just put it on retention and let someone advertise it for years in the hope it sells.

Only place to G tee selling it is Ebay.

BUT they don't tend to get that much unless it's something special

Id try these. I sold a plate very quickly through them and to my surprise at a small profit.
