Hi,

Never posted in scale models before so hello everyone. Just thought id share my first ever airfix build. Roughly half way through now, getting into it now and enjoying it. Like the ability to put your own mark on them buy tweaking and changing things to suit my preference.

Let me know what you think smile

Best of luck.

Not the best car model in the world but you'll definitely learn a bit about fettling etc.

It's all good fun.

Yea, each panel or piece is taking a lot of tidying up

I'm pretty sure the moulds date from the mid to late 60s - so will be quite "tired" by now.

I got one years ago and it builds into a pretty good model all things considered. It won't stand close scrutiny of course; the absolutely terrible wheels being the main let down. Stick a set of aftermarket wires on it and glue the bonnet shut, and it would look pretty good if built with a bit of finesse.
