I know of one guy who has done it, he posts regularly on AMOC.
However... Why? With the greatest of respect, if fuel costs are that critical or you're doing sufficient miles to justify LPG, a DB7 is the wrong car. They require a service every 6k miles and as an aging car it's not cheap to run. In my experience, they are far more costly to run than a DB9 for instance, at least double.
Get a Jag, they're a technological masterpiece apparently.

the reson for asking was that i saw one on ebay a while ago,so thank you yeti, that was some help. as for the rest of you you should be ashamed , when someone asks a question if you can not give a sencible answer then dont give one at all ,as my uncle used to have a DB3 i had always asumed aston owners were gentlemem,
it would apear not.

you need to get a sense of humour mate....or you will not last long on here....mind you...gas conversion on a db7....that was funny in it's self.....if you are gonna do something so stupid...do it to a new vanquish...more people will then laugh at you...it would apear not.

Combined with your spelling and syntax errors - even more so in your original post - surely a basic prerequisite of Aston ownership is not just about being a Gentleman but more so about having some sort of basic education.it would apear not.

So why ask if you can buy one then?I know of a couple - the one on eBay was I think green and the first to be done to my knowledge (by a company in Manchester IIRC). Astons are not cheap to own and run. Buying an Aston that has been modified, especially one such as this, is looking for trouble as it will be even less reliable and therefore piss you off even more quickly. Within 9 months you'll be cursing the day you bought an Aston. And that will be wrong.
The DB7 is a great car and was my way into Aston ownership with an i6. The advice I was given is buy the best you can afford, look at many and then look at some more, and assume a coupe of K each year. I'm not sure what I would be looking at if I were in your place now? DB7 is of a different era but far more rare. Cheapest V8 Vantage is more expensive than a reasonable DB7, but of current styling and relatively current technology.
