GS430 - thoughts?

Thinking of picking up a big barge for the commute (mostly motorway) and have been tempted by the GS430, Honda Legend etc over the 5 series / E class as you can pick up a newer example for the sane outlay and, potentially, they are more reliable?

I have had a look at Parkers, Honest John etc but there are no more recent reviews of the 2005 - 08 era cars.

Does anybody have any thoughts?
