I took the grandson to the museum ysterday and confess I had never heard of this make

Very stylish. Reminds me of a Peugeot, the lack of running boards is curious, I wonder if the original car had them ?

My first thought was Rosengart, but I don't think it is. Too small to be American. Very art-deco.

It could be american, late 30s early 40s - these cars weren't always big, look at a 40 Ford coupe, they aren't big at all really.
The front has a whiff of Pontiac from that era about it, but it isn't one, more obscure than that obviously.

It's a Rosengart. It does look a little influenced by 37-38 Ford/Zephyrs but it looks like a Rosengart Supertraction to me.

I have to say that it dosen't look quite right - a bit like a modern 're-creation' - the meshwork behind the grille just looks wrong.

With apologies to all, I photographed the descriptive detail next to the car and it's shown as a Corre. I photographed the detail to be sure of remembering properly. I've just looked at the photo and it would seem that someone had moved the description and put it in front of the wrong car!

Never heard of the Corre, but Georgano shows it to be an Edwardian light car built in France by M.Corre after he left his own company which went on to become la Licorne, which I have heard of, if you see what I mean.

Any hoo, nothing like the Rosengart!

I want one of those... Some years back I halfheartedly thought about buying one.

They're very rare, very expensive and slow so I passed. But they look fantastic.
