Discussion
Why oh why would you do this? Unless, of course, you have something to hide?

Look at how rusty the front discs are, it's been there a while.
It amazes me the standard of photo's on private ads, when I'm bored and doing a bit of dreaming I have a flick through the Autotrader and Pistonheads classified, if the main photo is rubbish, ie only half the car is there, the light is rubbish, it's out of focus, the car is dirty etc I won't even look at the ad.

You know, while it's obviously not a hard and fast rule, listings like this are often the ones to look into on eBay.
Because everyone's either too busy laughing, like us here, or too concerned that something dodgy's going on, they get extremely little interest. But with something like a car, you can go and have a look and see exactly what's what with some certainty (unlike, say, fake designer goods etc). And quite often a listing like that can turn into a real bargain for someone.
When I bought my Audi - a blue V6 A4, actually, spooky enough
- the eBay listing was shocking, with one photo of it dirty, taken at a weird angle, and very little detail in the description. But the guy sounded genuine enough so I drove an hour over to him to see it. Looked great, drove faultlessly, bought it for peanuts and kept it for two and a half years! I don't doubt that, if there'd been a better advert of the sort one of us might write, it would either have been snapped up or cost me a lot more.

It as if they're sat down one evening, nothing on tv, think il get the car advertised, go outside take some vague pictures of said car and put online.
Half arsed or hiding something.
I imagine more likely to be half arsed.Half arsed or hiding something.
The car in the OP's picture has very rusty discs, so it could well have sat in that field as a 2nd, 3rd, 4th car etc and not been used in a while, and they've only just got round to getting rid.
Or that it can't be driven because it's f
