While you have been away smile ,Jules and husband have sold Leven Technology to Prestige Performance .
http://www.leventechnology.co.uk/index.htm

They will refurbish badges (including gold and resin coated) , but usually require a badge in exchange... They may have an odd spare one , otherwise occassionally they do come up on E-bay ... always check the lugs are in place. I am sure the Gold ones are just painted or plated because I always end up polishing off the gold, so I get them resin coated now.

Hi, or you could do it yourself. If you remove your badge and rub it down to the gold coloured nickel under the chrome and clean between the ribs, polish the nickel then prime and spray it black, leave to dry then re-polish the paint off from the raised parts till its nice and shiney then coat with a couple coats of lacquer. I did mine and looks great, wil see if i can get a picture.
Hope this helps

I have a new and unused Union Jack one. Yours for £35.00 (I think that's what I paid for it).
