hi guys, just had to buy some spacers for my new 1piece front upper wishbone's. think they are 8 mm. the question is.
do they go to the front or rear of the top balljoints?

On the later cars with one-piece wishbones the spacer goes to the front. Earlier cars have one thinner one each side.

This firm sells a variety of spacers, but unless you wish to change the castor angle you only need one per wishbone in front of the balljoint.

The type of spacers you need, one single or two thinner ones is determined amongst other things by the type of top ball joint you are using.

Some new ball joint replacements have a wider ball end and won't allow the full range of camber adjustment. Fitting one half spacer each side, as opposed to the wider single allows the full range without having to resort to grinding metal off.

Racetech stock the thinner ones.
