Handling good
MPG I averaged c44mpg on the commute but on long runs had it to mid 50's.
I had leather, electric recap seats which were superb.
Voice control worked well too.
My quick clear only half the screen worked (passenger side) but a chipping ruined the screen so had a new one worked superbly in the freezing weather.
EGR failed went into limp mode but dealer fixed it free of charge.
Boot is huge - I had the hatchback
One thing to note with te hatchback is if its been raining when you open the boot water comes off the boot lid into the boot - they all do that.
Passenger space is huge front and rear a lovely car.
Performance - its 155bhp and for full throttle up to 20 seconds it gives turbo overboost useful for overtaking.
Had intended it to be a keeper ad hand down to the wife after three years of use.... Sadly I killed the engine (Hydrolic lock) and ruined the loom hitting flood water. Repair quoted easily over £6.5k so got rid.
Fond memories.
Also te 2.2 is a timing chain so no belt changes to worry about.
I always found it a very smart looking car (panter black ours) but the diesel sat a touch too high.
Oh the alloys can delaminate he dealer fully renovated ours before we took ownership.
If you do buy one never go through flood water the air intake is very very low and it will mean scrapping the car.

Dads (was mine) is now on around 104k on a '06 reg facelift model. Just had another new EGR valve (first went 2.5years ago on 50k ish) & a new alternator as the car wouldnt work at all (had to get the RAC out). Apart from that, badly coroded orignal wheels & the saggy rear bumper (both common issue), its been great. The brakes are rubbish, so a simple Focus ST front brake upgrade is the way to go. They fit perfectly, just need the calipers, disks, pads. MPG is around mid-40s on mixed roads. I also believe that there is no DPF on the 2.2TDCi.
