How much to eat the day of a "big meal"?
Discussion
Obviously everyone's different, but we're eating at l'enclume tomorrow night-our first Michelin starred restaurant.
Should we fast all day? Graze little bits? Have a hearty breakfast then starve?
It's the 17 course taster menu with wines-the girl on the phone said allow 3 hours for the food!

Bear in mind, although it's 17 courses it's not in any way a big meal.
Most of the courses will be less than a mouthful. One or two will be 2 mouthfuls.
No preparation needed really, unless you have the appetite of a sparrow
This is what we thought, however looking at some of the photos on the review sites they don't look that small like! Most of the courses will be less than a mouthful. One or two will be 2 mouthfuls.

If it's anything like the tasting experiences I've had you should come out feeling full to the point of not wanting any more to eat but still able to breathe and walk - I have a healthy appetite too so don't tend to just pick at a few pieces of cress and feel bloated
Have a normal breakfast, something you'd normally have for lunch and then hopefully something special later - make sure we get a review
