Has anyone had RSR boxes fitted to a 993 C2 recently?
If so has it made any difference to the power/pick-up of the car? I have heard rumours that they might make the car slower!!(less back-pressure for the engine).
Anyone had a dyno test before & after?

I fitted them,,great noise...did a rolling road and power was down slightly,,,but this may be as the rsr had the thinner 3.6 exit pipe and i was using them on a 3.8L car where pipes are slightly wider.

Noise is the reason to fit these, they do not quote any power gains.
I found them too noisy for 98db track days, so have reverted to standard.

Had these on my 993 C4S, purely for the noise, but i have to say that once they'd been on the car for a couple of weeks it definitely felt like it was more eager to rev above 5k rpm.

Not saying there was more power, but it breathed easier, no question in my mind.

I have them on order from Gert now for my 993 C2.

RSRs arrived, i put one on last night and one the night before. Damn rusty bolts..... grrrr.

Had to take my dad to LHR this morning, then went straight to work. Yee har!

Gotta love that 993 noise, now that it's "free".
