After todays fun and games I have gone and bought myself a daily runner (1991 fiesta bonus) not sure what the bonus is!!!

The thinking being that during the winter I can keep the S out of the bad weather. What do I need to do to lay the car up? I know it is early to start thinking about this but want to make sure I am prepared for it.

Was thinking about end of November to end of March.

Any advice appreciated

IMHO the best thing is to drive it

Keep the battery on a trickle charge, get the chassis waxoyled before and after winter, and on a regular basis take it out when dry for a run.Be careful with the brakes as there could be a surface rust on the discs

I would agree, i leave mine in the garage but usually there is a day or evening every couple of weeks in the winter that you can go for a blast & enjoy the sunny winter days.

The car stays in better shape with regular use rather than winterising.
