E60 M5 (2007) water in passenger side rear footwell ??
Discussion
I just wondered if any body else has discovered this strange wet carpet problem.
I have not driven through any excessive deep flooded roads and yet I have very wet carpet just in the rear footwell on the passenger side.
Is there a floor bung or drain channel that can cause this issue ???
Ive had a quick look underneath and cant see anything obvious also all rubber door seals look fine.
Very strange !!!
I would be greatfull if anyone can shed some light on the cause.
Thanks

Had the same problem in my M5, looked for sunroof drains and nothing was blocked yet had alot of water in the footwell, even with all the recent rain it hasn't "flooded" again so I think for my situation, the window may have been left open when it rained and water gone into the car like that, I've been monitoring it since
But agreed check the sunroof drains
