996 Turbo Exhaust tips

My tips need replacing/refinishing.

At the moment it has the standard exhaust tips but the "figure of 8" style tips are cheaper to buy (imagine they were extra when new).

£390 vs £310. And then polish up the old ones and flog em on EBay maybe .

What do you prefer?

Does it make any difference to the noise?

I prefer (but don't have) the 8 shape. When I get around to ordering the spoiler lip, perhaps I'll blow £310 on the exhaust tips too!

I think I might still have a pair of the standard figure 8's in garage somewhere, Europipe came with slightly larger OEM ones so the originals were surplus to requirements. I'll have a look at weekend.
