007 Number Plate
Discussion
There are quite a few OO number plates around, because many in this series (those followed by four numerals) were issued in Essex, just before the year letter registrations started in 1963. Consequently many were retained and transferred at the time the original cars were scrapped.
OO 7836 and OO 7674 are being offered at present, for a little over £2000.
For OO 77 though, the owner is hoping for nearly £65,000.
OO 7 would certainly be very serious money.

Hey,
Have just seen the plate OO7 45. I was wondering if anyone would be able to give an indication of its value?
At the risk of stating the obvious, it's only worth what someone is prepared to pay for it. At an auction recently, I saw some decent plates not even make reserve and then HU11 CTY go for £48k. Yes, you read that right!Have just seen the plate OO7 45. I was wondering if anyone would be able to give an indication of its value?

An English friend of mine just put BMT 216A on his Bentley GT in Texas.
- Sort of plate a gentleman might use, rather than 007 plates, especially on non bond cars...
That said, each to his own. Totally mean that BTW.
- But i haven't seen 007 on a Range Rover Sport, Ford Mondeo, 2CV, Lotus etc....
