Has anyone been? Would you recommend it? We are staying up near Loch Lomond next week so not too far to travel.

Thanks.

I've been, nothing spectacular but had a very nice lunch of oysters and a salmon platter there. Worth a visit I would say.

5 miles from Oban is a little trek too far from the hotel.

I'll give it a go.

Thanks

OP wanted a view - a PH friendly answer incorporating a 40 mile detour over A83 and Old Military Road from Loch Lomond and then onto A819 - Inverary then A85 to Connel - whats not to like for better food a wee hoon thrown in for free
