uneven running
Discussion
My Chim was doing the same.
I started by changing the dizzy cap and rotor arm as they looked worn and were cheap to do. This made is slight improvement, but not much. I then changed the old HT leads with a 8mm Magnecore set and replaced the worn extenders with a second hand set in better condition. It ticks over beautifully now, even when cold.
What condition are the leads, plugs and extenders in?

mine also was a bit rough and was going to replace the leads, with expensive magncore but off a thread on here a few months ago I bought some standard lucas ones for about 20 english pounds and it ran like a dream. even though I had a receipt from a previous owner had replaced them 18 months earlier.
If you are going down the Magnecore route Id suggest you go for the black ones as these have better spike control than the blue and red types- (Im sure these are pushed as the profit margins are so high for the dealers) and you dont gain anything by fitting "race leads" apart from a much lighter wallet. I like the stock Bosch leads myself.
To be fair, I got a very good deal on my Magnecores and extenders; however, I would have gone for a stock set or something similar:

h to get to the two under the plenum but just pop the injector connectors off one at a time to see if you have a cylinder down.
