I deal with racing fuel costs by using a technique known as Denial.

motor sport rules

1) never add up the cost
2) never refer to the cost in £ only motorsport unit
3) 1 motorsport unit = 1000

I will probably spend my total fuel allowance for 2013 just getting to Anglesey from Exeter, year before last it took 7 & half hours in the lorry to get to the circuit, but what a weekend it was, two fourth places against kawacosts and locosuki's in front. To be fair they were about 3 or 4 sec's a lap quicker. All circuits are miles away if you live in Sunny Devon.Roll on March can't wait.

Gutted i read this as i've always avoided adding fuel costs up what with my V8 fetish!
Anglesey can't be worse than the Ring and Spa can it?
Planning on taking a week out for Anglesey and taking the whole clan so fingers crossed for the weather!
For those that have been there before whats on offer in terms accommodation and kids activities etc in the local area? Thanks

hi Dave, the deal is on an exchange basis, although he still has the engine at the moment so nothing is set in stone.

Thanks Tim. If you do find out you can sell them let me know what you want for them! Only need the heads and cam etc to make a full engine now and tour heads should still be as new?

Anglesey is only 2 hours for me! Beats the 7 hours to Brands Hatch!!!!! Weather is usually pretty stty. Not much on offer in the local area except the local leisure centre. Well, when I say leisure centre, its actually 6 sheep tied to a lamp post but the locals call it a leisure centre wink
