So although PH might not be the most 'hip hop' site on the interweb i'd imagine those that do enjoy it might have more refined tastes, so who do you rate?

I'll kick off with some Brotherhood (early 90s UK hip hop) http://www.youtube.com/watch?NR=1&v=D8aYbjGHfe...

On a sperate note I am a big fan of Shlohmo remixes, mostly whats regarded as st US rap over chilled out, brillaintly produced beats.

Other than that:

Rick Ross - Diced Pineapples - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jb6HZa151s8

Drake - Practice - NSFW (swearing) - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vsZnv9PORJU

Trey Songz - Don't be Scared - NSFW (swearing) - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6sgWGUhXp7c

Angel - Time after time - (safe) - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Vae91nUMgow

All of these are regular plays and in my top 10....

Don't mind some Cypress Hill, but I'm not sure this is the place for it.

I went off hip hop years and years ago.Just gone majorly down hill .

Drake and trey songz are rnb/pop music as far as i am concerned ,better of sticking to british rapers like skepta and wiley ,devlin and even wretch 32.

Saying that i do enjoy watching rick ross videos ,even though lyrically hes crap.Just nice and catchy flows to get ya attention along with the tities in the vids(the girls not his lol )

I like Big Boi, Kendrick Lamar, some of Outkast and some Nas. I don't know if they count but I really like El-P and Aesop Rock's latest album.

Fliptrix

Verb T (and Kashemere, and Fliptrix again)

Jehst

Klashnekoff

Wiley even has his moments

Stig Of The Dump

I don't like much of what seems to come from the US... MF Doom and Ohmega Watts, maybe a bit of J Live, but on the whole it doesn't do much for me.

Anyone into abit of J.Cole?

I've only just got Kendrick Good Kid, not sure why I waited so long. Although only 3-4 tracks I regularly skip to.

Which is nice.

When I take over, anybody involved with this utter garbage will be nailed to a plank and dumped in the South Atlantic.

Never, in the field of human entertainment, has so much shyte been dumped on so many by so few.
