BMW 635 coupe left beside A82

Wondering if anyone here knows more? There's an old x-reg (?1982) BMW 6 coupe E24 with Alpina badging that's been parked in a lay-by on the A82 between Fort William and Spean Bridge for a week now. Looks like someones pride and joy so I'm surprised to see it's been sat for a week. Wouldn't cost much for it to be recovered at least to a yard?

That was my fear. Thought I'd raise awareness here incase anyone knows anything, but then again if there are dodgy folk lurking on pistonheads then maybe not a good idea. Hopefully now that the holidays are done it'll be put to a safe place soon.

I would probably call the police on the non emergency number to make them aware.
