Recommend me an apartment in Madrid....

.... for 3 or 4 people not TOO far from the Bernabeu stadium/town centre, for a long weekend.
Were planning on heading to catch a madrid game in mid March. Im assuming an apartment might be a good idea as opposed to a hotel, working out cheaper and a little more spacious, but ive never done this before - having always hotel'ed it up.
Any ideas/experiences?
