returning a hacked ps3 to standard

i bought a ps3 on ebay knowing it was hacked to run homebrew programs, Ive ran a few, bit bored of it and now want to return it to standard so i can get dlc and the like off the psn shop thing.

but I dont know how to return it to its standard unhacked state.

does any one know how to do this, or can link to a site telling me how to do it? i need help as my googlefu is weak and cannot find anyware that explains how to do it.

I'd try restoring to factory settings first - that should be easy enough.. After that, not sure!

had thought about that, but to run homebrew games and programs I 'think' it changes the firmware, which does not get touched in a factory reset.

I hacked my ps3 but to return it back to normal I downloaded the latest software to USB and then restored it via dfu mode.
