Different car on HPI?

Going to collect my ST Tdci tomorrow and thought I would get a HPI check done. When I enter the reg it's coming back as 'Mondeo Black Tdci' even though its a Blue ST or is black a model they done?

I have spoke to the seller and he thinks its because of it being an early model. My insurance couldn't pick the car up as well from the reg.

Has anyone else had a similar problem with HPI or is something not right here?

Hpi will throw up loads of odd stuff in vehicle makes,models and specs,we once hpid a fiat motorhome at work that came up as a thundercharger whatever that is.
Get the dealer too see what thw v5 says,may just be registered as the wrong colour,you can ring hpi for help too.
