Controversial or what? Would he have done that in a champions league match? Perhaps, perhaps not, anyway...

Totally agree with KPBs actions but I'd have even more respect if he hadn't kicked the ball at the crowd, however in the heat of the moment It's understandable.

Glad to see the consensus is with him.

One thing that did strike me was Gary Linekers comment on twitter,

"The only way to to change things is to punish the teams these vermin support. Not with meaningless fines but points!"

Fair enough, but a lower league team who might not have the resources to monitor all fans?

Thoughts?

Hats off to him. The Italian league has it worse than we do, and as in this country, every team accepts a responsibility to manage their supporters.
If it was my team, Plymouth Argyle, they would be expected to find and ban the idiot/s, so why not a 4th Division Italian side?

Well its clear UEFA won't do anything. The game is populated with black players. Its about time this happened more regularly. Will force UEFA to act.

Yep...I hope that the next time an English club plays at some of the same old places that they do the same thing.

Only when it's high profile (Champs League or International) will FIFA/UEFA start paying attention.
