I've started looking for a fuel tank for my UVA Fugitive and none of the 'standard' off-the-shelf alloy tanks will fit. Custom made tanks seem to cost an arm and a leg so I was thinking of laminating one in GRP like I did fo my GTM Coupe about 6 years ago.

The difference, of course, is that a new GRP tank would need to be resistant to the 10% ethanol in E10 fuel. Has anybodycome across a suitable laminating resin or internal coating or, failing that, a source of reasonably priced custom made petrol tanks?

We have tanks made at OBP. We just send the dimensions, filler neck size, inlet and outlet sizes and they make them up in ally. Normally between £80 and £150, in fact sometimes cheaper than the ready made items they advertise
