Wrapping - textures and 'grain' direction?
Discussion
Confused, I am, about what happens if you wrap a car in a material that has a texture or pattern. For example, the simulated weave of carbon fibre is - I presume - distorted as it's stretched around compound curves. Is this right?
I'm not thinking about a CF finish for my car but I'm assuming it's the pattern most often done, s someone must know. (I'm considering a sort of brushed stainless steel, with the 'grain' running from front to back - impossible?)
