Was out today - first trip in a month. Took some revs to get the brakes off and then had some serious brake judder for the first 10 miles or so. That's the nudge I need to not leave it so long next time...

Same thing happened to me today. Took about a dozen attempts to free the pads then violent judder with reduced braking effect, decided to park it back up and have a look tomorrow. Hope it is just a stuck pad?

This happend to me as well after leaving it for over a month, I just carried on driving as normal and it went away after about 10 minutes.

Yep, binding pad or pads. Never had it before but then a month is the longest I've gone without driving it, never had the problem if it's only 2-3 weeks. That said, I've a feeling this time was due to the fact I put it in the garage after a good wash and blast with the Karcher and didn't take it for a spin to dry out.

The judder went away when I decided to dab them frequently as I went along for the next few miles to get things working. They were soon working as they should do.

Sounds like it is a binding pad(s), originally thought it was the rears due to handbrake etc. My suspension could do with a strip and clean anyway, so I'll strip and clean them up then.

You'd need to if your drive/garage isn't level!

Same here - have learnt my lesson having had two Fiat Coupes that suffered in the same way.

Think it was the cold and moisture when I put it away that caused it.
