Is it finished yet

Only managed 26 miles on bike today before front cog refused to change up or down so had to cut ride short. I'm running out of toys to play with!!

I can fix bikes as well you know

Hi fellas, it seems that garage work is very contagious
Mine is up on stands ready to lift the body, got the rear shocks off and in a certain cleaner
wheels off ready for a refurb and polish. I have yet to purchase new outrigger tubing and plate. The exhaust was a swine to get off, but Dr Jones`s nylon faced persuader shifted it with a few well aimed blows. I`ll have a good look underneath for anything else that needs attention, except the waterpump
. I may even put in a new clutch as I`ve had the car for a few years. there are a few more disconnects to carry out before the lift commences, oh and cure the oil weep from the timing cover.

Steve,

Have you decided on any particular component failures thus year?
I am particularly worried about my passenger vanity mirror failing at the worst possible moment.
Austin has hinted that a new RH Rear CV joint might be in order before too long, I may have to try a test drive tomorrow to be certain. I have been absent too long this year, I need to get out into the hills to make Barry jealous.
Although we are all gonna be jealous of his beautiful pure white chassis over the next few months.
Some people eh?
