Pikes Peak 2013 trip

The other half and myself are planning a trip to the aforementioned and I was wondering if any other PHers have made the pilgrimage and if they can pass on any tips and share their experiences. It's something I've always wanted to do since seeing Mountain Dance and 'that' Suzuki Escudo in Gran Turismo - and fortunately for me herself loves her Motorsport too (even public camping at LM!)
