Right.. Cerb has been sat a bit, due to leaky slave. Gone to lock it after doing some work on it and the drivers window no longer wants to go up be it when closed shut or on the window button, and it is no longer locking and putting the window up in the alarm.. Alarm is the OEM Meta.

Control box or alarm? I have unplugged and replugged already. No change. Window still goes down on opening and on the button.

Oh.. When you open the door, 'alarmed' or not. The alarm doesn't go off..

I thought the door buttons were disabled if the alarm was on as the car is "locked", therefore how can you open the doors if the alarm is on?

Exactly.. Indicators are flashing as if it were alarmed/de-alarmed.

Battery is on a trickle.

I had something similar to this the other day, I also thought it was the alarm or control box. The drivers door would close, window go up but the lights wouldn't go off and the alarm would switch on but not fully close the car, I could always open the doors. Found that it was actually the reed switch on the bottom of the passenger door. Tested both with a magnet and everything ok, needed to adjust the sensor closer to the sill. Worked ever since. Forgot to say that everything was ok about 6 weeks ago then this happened out of the blue.

Yep check your Reed switches. Mine just needed half a turn and it was fixed.

Round disc in the door sill, long pin in the door in corresponding place.
