Hi everyone! I usually lurk elsewhere on PH but have strayed into the Landy forum (please dont beat me up) smile

I'm after some old 195/80/15 tyres, any condition that holds air. The high sidewalls will make it way easier to load my sprint car on and off my towing rig. Not looking to splash out until I know it works as an idea at least, although I certainly dont mind exchanging a few beer tokens or a couple of kilo's of Dairy Milk (work for Cadbury).
AFAIK this size was fitted to Freelanders hence me asking in here smile
Car is non road legal and tyres are literally only for getting it on and off the ramps (Gives +6cm radius on the current tyres!)

Thanks!

Give one of the Landy scrap yards a shout...

The 15" rims fitted to the Freelander were steel, so most people would bin those to get a set of 16" alloys on their car. I'd bet that the scrap yards can't even give those things away!

If you're in the West Mids, give someone like Equicar 4x4 a shout.

I assume you need a set of rims as well? Do the hubs on your car match the PCD and number of studs (5) of a Landy?

Just tyres, they're going on my rims (a 4-stud Renault and if it works a 5-stud too)

If you get really desperate, and you are not worried about the profile just to diameter, you can probably buy new tyres for less than £40 each

or have you tried asking a tyre depot for some old 15" tyres - they would be happy to let you have some to save paying for disposal.
