Hi guys

Wonder if anyone has got any recommendations on which company is best to book with? Was hoping to camp with TL but they're full now so wanted to camp at Terte Rouge any suggestions?

Thanks

If you can find anyone with TR tickets I'd snap them up if I were you, they're not easy to get hold of, we book with tickets-2-u, always been very good with us

TR is the smallest and hardest site to get, we have used it for 10 years now and everyone there has their own source, by now most agencies will have sold out, a few usually appear on forum's or ebay but certainly not cheap, however in my opinion the best site

You must like them a lot! 5 out of your 6 posts seem to recommend them!

No nothing fishy at all just honest clients expressing an opinion. If you look at Justin Chills posts they only relate to his site, I dont blame him for advertising as we all have sites to fill.

All sites at Le Mans have there positives and negatives, as I have said in another post what one person finds fantastic another finds dissapointing, there is a place for all of us at Le Mans, why is nececssary to criticise one individual just because they have an opinion look what happened on other social network sites, posters must ensure that what is being said is the truth.

Why cannot we all just enjoy what is probably the best motor race in the world and enjoy whatever site, hotel or Chateau you enjoy and allow newbies to make up their own minds with the assistance of the excellent comments made on this forum without resorting to inuendo or incorrect facts.

It may indeed be innocent, genuine, unbiased feedback from JaneG but, on the flip side, it does appear to be slightly coincidental that JaneG only has one friend on Facebook, you wink

However, on looking at Jane's early posting past, I believe that she is just a satisfied customer of Porkieboy's and found him on recommendation from Beer Mountain and Brian at 1st Tickets, who now organises the PH camp site.

Maybe go a little easy on the direct web links Jane, as it does look at first glance a little bit suspect, when you have no other posting history smile

smile Beermountain is certainly invaluable when it comes to getting the opinions of others on good sites, agents and so on.

Stayed there in 2010 and they're fine from memory, not such huge queues as it's a smaller site.

Two small blocks of loo's/showers and staff there all the time, most of the time you can walk straight in but at busy times you may have to wait, but chance then to talk to fellow campers and make contacts, next time you see then beer will usually be offered.
The staff are constantly cleaning so conditions are good but don't expect power showers and temperature can vary.

Cool, one to remember smile I have often looked over from the inside of Tetre Rouge corner and thought it looks a really good little location. I presume to get a pitch near to the fence over looking the circuit you have to get there very early? Are they allocated or non-allocated pitches?

Non-allocated but haven't discovered when you have to get there to get the ones by the fence. Same people every year. I think some of the locals park caravans / motorhomes up early then come back to them later on in the week. Varied choice of other pitches though. Some with shade from the trees, some sandy ground some grass, not that many with standing water problems as it's on top of the hill smile
