Garage envy!!!!!!!

Last weekend I was in the presence of greatness.

I visited a private garage with no less than three TOTALLY original AC Cobras. Two were veteran LeMans racers (one even has the original paintwork and bodywork cracks). One was a Coupe used for testing the little wing that they bolted on the back to help on the Moulsanne straight at 200mph).

I would happily give my right one to own any one of the three, but I know which one I would really like. However I would be too scared to drive it.

Perhaps pics weren't allowed a few years ago I visited Juha Kankernans farm in Finland to view hs private car collection, under strict instructions no photos allowed. Some people are sensitive and there's too many thieving bar stewards in this world!!!

And out of respect I didn't ask.

The Last time I was there he had a fourth AC Cobra, that belonged to a friend of his. He was working on it to sort out a fueling issue. Both the body and the engine were signed by Carroll Shelby. Very nice but not even in the same league as his three.
