Morning,

I've been offered a deal for an ice driving day/package in Finland which i'm considering doing for my 40th with a few mates.

Just wondering if anyone has done one of these package type deals (2 nights hotel and a day on the ice being instructed by the likes of Juha Kankkunen in R32/Imprezas) and if they are as good as they sound or are they like the supercar "days" that you can buy when you get to spend 2 minutes driving some exotica up and down a runway?

We plan to have a night out in Helsinki on the way and make a weekend of it.

Any thoughts from the collective?

I think we're goling to do it. Fly to Helsinki on the Thurs, night out seeing "the sights" then fly to Kuusamo on the Fri morning, spend the day/night in the ski resort then Ice Driving R32/Gallardo all day Sat with Juha et al and fly home Sunday. £1375 a head + Evening meals and drinks.
