Decent curry in Central London

I know PH knows everything about Curry so where should I be going? In London this weekend staying in Clapham but will be in Central quite a bit. Looking for a decent Curry either sit down or takeaway? Where would Phers reccomend?

Also I am slightly on a budget being the new year looking to spend £60 for the two people max really not including beer.

I would say definitely yes, they have another in Covent Garden if its easier to get to.

As with previous posts, Balham is down the road. Tooting has some quality curry places, but also some rubbish. Went to a rather expensive vegetarian one a while back and it was fantastic. Admitedly, Balham might be easier on the eye if you're not used to the Broadway. Sod travelling into London - even Brick Lane is a bit overrated these days IMO.

Agreed! Whilst the starters such as the lamb chops and other tandoori grilled meats are delicious, the mains are not great at all. I have eaten there twice and each time the main chicken/lamb dishes are thin/watery, not big in size and have potatoes in it (odd!)

Much better places in West London, as as Lahori Karahi or Giftos..
