Is there a *free* program out these that will take an MP3, look it up, and get the correct name/album and then move/copy it into a folder?

You could try MusicBrainz Picard: http://musicbrainz.org/doc/MusicBrainz_Picard

It can look up audio signatures of file and try to assign names and albums to them. It works, but you have to pay attention to what its doing since there are often a very large number of options for some tracks, especially if the have been release many times or appear on a load of compilation albums.

^ That's the best way to do it.

If you're an iTunes match subscriber, you could try adding them to that, and then populating the details of any "matched" files with this: http://code.google.com/p/itunes-match-tagger/

Media Monkey.

It will do the web lookup but also lets you define what folder structure to store it in and has the ability to rename the tracks according to the tags in a format you want. All of that is configurable.

It can also set the tags from the filenames.
