Racing Chim 'Unveiled' for the Neil Garner Open Day - Mar 30
Discussion
For those that went to the Neil Garner Open Day last year at SN16 9SH you will know the format with traders and 130 + TVRs attending. This year's theme in the grand ring surrounded by over 20 TVR related stalls and trade stands will be the main theme of the day - 'TVR in Motorsport'. So we, the organisers are appealing to all of you race / track enthusiasts to 'come on down' and bring your beloved TVR car for all to admire.
Just as a teaser, this is Neil's personal race car (or more of a case of HOW it will look on the day). He is still adding 'more' finishing touches to his '4.8' Chim. For those that know the Britcar series you will note it is in the same colours as the Mosler that he race preps for all Britcar series.
More info on the event will be up-dated later in the month together with a new posting in the TVR events forum of who's coming
Watch this space as they say!
Cheers Paul

Now, Christian, seriously - wants the chances, you could bring any of your racers with you, is it a possibility? Any chance that some one could get it/them towed down. We really want to show off some of the folks TVR race cars and dearly love to have one or two of yours there! And as for the 'NEW' Sag? Well of course we would love to see that there too.
Choices choices choices!!!
And in answer to your question..... Yes I believe so, ...... So let the games begin! Re the engine spec??? You will have to wait until next month.. Article on the 'toy' in Sprint next month. Shhhhh! Mum's the word!!

t my first TVR clash of the year!!
So the dilemma is i'm on track at Spa on the Sunday morning as pointed out above
What time does the day start as i could go for a marathon TVR weekend with an early start on saturday to Neils followed with a blast to Spa for Sunday & Monday TD's?
Should be a good drive out as there will be 5 of us in convoy

Starting at 10am for non-traders. Traders from 8am giving them 2 hours max to set up. If you remember last year, it started to fold after 3pm. After the sound off of the loudest car on the day. We have told traders opening times are from 10am to 4pm. If it is cold, wet, it will finish early, but on the other hand if the sun is out and demand is high traders may well continue to trade nearer 4pm
Hope that helps.
hi Paul
i would like to confirm that me and my tuscan will be able to join in the fun,
i presume that nearer the time i can get a few more details of exactly where and what time etc. i also have the use of an awning but would need to stick the car under it if the weather is poor!

Calm down, calm down....In fact the Spa week-end is the 24/25th MAY...The UK late spring bank holiday, so shouldn't be a clash.
