After a bit of advice, want to try a set of R888s on my Ult, but 245/35/18 is not an available size. They do a 255/35/18 or 245/40/18 235/40/18 or 225/40/18 anyone fitted these?

hope you have another set for wet weather, was at a wet donington and had loads of grip, right up to the point where i was going backwards up the track LOL
dry weather, lots of grip

ive seen 255 fronts fitted on a few cars and Waynes GTW had 225 if i remember correct

I had the same problem and ended up with kumo on the front and R888 on the rear..

They have a good write up ... just dont do the required rear sizes at the minute.. But are a very similar pattern to another manufacturer that does...cannot instantly recall which one though !

I use my second set of R888 now (30% track use).
I love them, but I think it's a very bad idea if you want to drive the car in the rain, too.

I used to have 245 Michelin Pilot Sport at the front.
Even I - as an amateur driver - could feel the huge improvement with 255 at the front on track.

Unfortunately the tires are grinding at the headlight housing
and even more important at the tube frame, under full steering lock.
You have to keep that in mind when you maneuver

you need to restrict the steering... the turning circle is more than enough on the ultima so restricting each side wont restrict its use... jublee clips each side ive been told work a treat...dom
