Was thinking of putting these on the front Federal 595 RSR - 245/35 R18 88W TL

I use my second set of R888 now (30% track use).
I love them, but I think it's a very bad idea if you want to drive the car in the rain, too.
I used to have 245 Michelin Pilot Sport at the front.
Even I - as an amateur driver - could feel the huge improvement with 255 at the front on track.
Unfortunately the tires are grinding at the headlight housing
and even more important at the tube frame, under full steering lock.
You have to keep that in mind when you maneuver

you need to restrict the steering... the turning circle is more than enough on the ultima so restricting each side wont restrict its use... jublee clips each side ive been told work a treat...domand even more important at the tube frame, under full steering lock.
