I have just spent 4 hours solid trying to get one exhaust manifold off and i still aint there!! has anyone done this before if so any tips??

You need at least 6 hours plus a selection of different spanners, C spanners are useful to. When it goes back together you may find Allen bolts a helpful option for the future. They are always a pig and only TVR know why they kept churning them out to the same design.

I hope you're replacing the bolts with stainless steel ones and not standard mild steel.

To be honest, I wouldn't even attempt to do the exhaust manifolds myself. Not because it is especially hard but due to the world of sh*t one would find oneself in if a bolt sheared.
I'd rather pay someone else to take that risk.
