My headlights are blinding just about everybody. they have factory xenons. I dont want someone to crash into me or attention from the police. Adjustment might be high but i can sort that. so my question is...

Is it possible to down grade?

Are they not self-leveling?

Does the beam lower and raise when you first switch on the ignition?

I don't get flashed in mine, and the auto headlights seems to keep main beam acitvated for most of the time during the murky winter daylight hours.

The auto levelling doesn't prevent the beam being too high, it just adjusts the beam according the attitude of the car so if you are cresting a hill you are less likely to dazzle oncoming traffic. If the beam is too high then it will remain so.

There are plenty of tips on google and YouTube on how to get the basic adjustment right.

I fitted 55w HIDs in the place of the OE 35w and these need careful adjustment.

Hmmm, didnt seem too bad today. Will try and adjust them. But now the engine light has come one which is emissions related. Ffs, already replaced the battery this week.
