After trading in the TT I'm looking for something a bit posy for weekend runs. Driving style is relaxed so I don't care about if it handles like a roller skate, this is all about looking good.

Definitely convertible and hopefully automatic with budget up to £10k. Thinking SLK but is there anything I'm missing? Comfortable ride is a good thing.

This isn't exactly in keeping with the Pistonheads ethos.. I don't imagine this will end well for you wink

Audi S4 cabriolet. Lots of show and noise and not a lot of go

I can't get away from Audi, had five of them now and want something different. Have Q5 as day to day car.

I'd be all set to scoff too, however have had very similar urges recently.

I've got my diesel bus for daily duties - tick
I've got my track/race toy gestating in the garage - tick
My M3 provides some fun and performance on road and track - tick
I found myself then looking to see if I could find something "nice" which the GF and I could throw a bag in the boot of for a couple days away, but without having to budget hundreds for the fuel or endure her "how fast?" objections.

My window shopping budget was slightly more modest than the OPs, however I've found myself having cheeky bids on a few of these that have come up on autotrader recently - being comfortable with spanners is a bonus.

Jaguar XK8. Plenty around within budget, couple of issues to look out for but it's leagues above the TT and SLK.

Boxster?

Could get a mint older 2.5 / 2.7 in budget or a newer 2.7 at a push.
