My rear suspension, particularly the near side I think, has just started squeaking and groaning loads. Is there anything that's likely to be the prime suspect for making all this racket?

It's aftermarket but I'm not sure what. :-S rubbish I know but it's what was on the car when I bought it. Just know they're not standard cos they're height adjustable. I'm thinking best thing is gonna be get it in somewhere to have a look. Where's my best bet near north London? I know str8 six are good but they're a bit of a trek away.

I know nothing.......but to a numpty like me nodding dog suggests the springs are too strong for the dampers in some way.

I know your not buddy, you mentioned it before I think and I thought Christ mine are like that!!!!???? So I learnt from it, he he, yes I have the (PRO's) race spring rate and I'm hoping after I've bent them abit on some track they might be slightly better. Is it nitrons that are the best ?

No there not the best but they are good ,i have standard spring rates which come with the shock absorbers .

The gaz monos were good around corners , i think the setup was more for smooth race tracks ..400/500lb springs just seemed harsh..

Peter im not sure ,i know there nothing like 400/500 .You can order what springs you like but they will have to change the valves to suit ..I just decided i would rather have a nice ride on the roads..maybe they will not be stiff enough for track use.Just got mine of the shelf but no "nodding dog"cool

The girl i gave my bank details to sounded so cute

You are spot on ! but when i sent them back they said they are damping fine ,that`s to be expected .

Two of the adjusters failed which they thought is exceptable .! Maybe with softer springs and the correct damping they might be good as Nitrons .
