Ok so the Growler is back and has its new engine

So I just spoke to georgina at RH Insurance - and after she had underwriters approval to add a new model code to the database ( how childish that made me smile ! ) I am now insured for just £149.36 !! WHOOHOOOOOOOO Now to tax the growler and away we go

They now have a new code being put on the database for a 500se !! I know its a 450se with a v8 developments 5.0 engine but still if they create a new code thats down to my car !!

LA LA LA feel like a kid again

Now if only the snow will stay away i may just have to get a tax disc ........

Ty,

Interested in you 5 ltr upgrade as i am about to put a 500 Griff in my 350i S2! Did you have the Serp engine and hotwire set up or did you go for MS / Emerald solution? have you got PAS and oil cooler fitted? Any bear traps to look out for? My concern is the manifolds and whether mine will fit after i take the Griff backward one off!

No need to be like that, all insurers have a risk portfolio; some target young males, some want old women. Give it another year and you may well find that RH will be your best mates and Flux your worst enemy. Didn't you get your cover for £180 or so? Not bad for a RWD plastic sports car that is likely to be a total loss if you get it wrong. I've been driving 32 years (TVRs for 17), IAM test etc. and still they don't give me it for free...
