Anyone know a supplier for the engine mounts? Mine look a bit previous.

I heard they were short in supply at the moment (from a local independent). Try www.tvrgear.com (TMS) as they seem to have good shipping procedures.

Let us know how you get on changing them. They don't look easy to do.

Use hoist as in taking engine out to take the strain. Slacken things like gearbox mounts, exhaust (remove) so there is some freedom. Undo mount and replace one at a time. Use pry bars and threats to change it for an MGF as appropriate.

PS. Remember which side of the chassis plate it goes!PPS They also can vary depending on engine type and when it was made...

I had my front nearside mount go a couple of months ago which caused the power steering pump to hit the water expansion tank and punch a hole in it . According to TVR they're a normal ware and tear items!
